Hey Leslie,
A few errors. On both versions, something funny happens at around line 77 of the code. Look at the color of the img src. Please double check openers and closers, just from a quick glance it looks like the problem is in the style part, there are double "center" alignments, and no style closer. The a4 one has some important images without the "style display block" added. In addition there are some alt tags that are are unnecessary. For example there is an alt tag named "lef bottom". That means that if the images are not loaded or if the mouse hovers over the image it will display "lef bottom" which we dont want. Only use alt tags where they inform the user of something or has relevant information. Let me know if you have any questions, thanks.

Thanksgiving Projects...
NYC _ Email - Draft 2
It's been quiet around this blog the past few weeks - mainly due to lots of revisions (both editorial and graphical). This particular project is close, but my superiors aren't pleased with the top section. I'm going to revisit this over the weekend and see if I can come up with a few different treatments so I can move forward with the html. But for the purposes of advancing the blog agenda - here is version two of this particular project.

The text had to be flip flopped so it would look less salesy and more subtle. Like we were trying to spread a message versus sell them a book.
Background colors of emails can be a color besides white (in this case cream) but it must be a solid.
To get the images directly off of a website -
In Safari go to: Window > Activity.
And in firefox go to: Tools > Page Info > Media.
Design wise -
Note the buttons * and the p.s. section.
Also not every border has to have "ribbon" or wavy border.
